bruce peninsula
bruce peninsula

took the van down to the bruce peninsula for a week to see where amy vacationed when she was a kid in guelph

wrasslin the dog at wasaga beach

very blue water at mcgregor point provincial park

very still heron

sauble falls provincial park

we hiked a bunch of the bruce trail, this was part of the lion's head loop - 17.7km, 507m, mostly a slog through the woods but with a few occasional nice lookouts. elly had a great time ripping through the forest and probably did about 40km total.

lion's head lookout - after 17km of hiking we landed at the busiest place i have ever been, great lookout, way too many loud annoying people who have never been outside before

a much quieter lookout

we stayed at cape croker provincial park, nice views of the alpenglow on the escarpment at sunset

another trail - halfway log dump - 9km, 290m, all along the georgian bay - super blue water, lovely hiking, great lookouts, and you can swim anywhere, the only downside is you need to enter a lottery to get a permit because it is so busy down here

great stars this far from the gta
